Foundation

Established in 2005 as a non-profit corporation

The Arc of Tri-Cities Foundation was established in 2005 as a non-profit corporation in the State of Washington as part of a legacy donation by an individual who stipulated the gift was to provide long-term support to The Arc of Tri-Cities.

To provide proper handling of this donation, The Arc of Tri-Cities Foundation, a non-profit entity, was formed. In 2006, the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) qualified it as a 501(c)(3) public charity, whose sole and the exclusive beneficiary is the Arc of Tri-Cities.

Arc Support

Over the past five years, the Foundation has contributed in excess of $200,000 to the Arc’s general operations. All support is done by specific approval of the Foundation Board of Directors.
